I was just wondering how hard it would be to modify the program to allow adding points (in Point select mode) to lines and planes that are a part of a group or solid?

I often select several adjacent planes and define them to be a solid so they will shade smoothly. Then I sometimes need to edit one of the planes to make it longer, etc. This is easy to do in Point Select mode.

But if I need to add an additional point to a plane to wrap it around another object I have to explode the solid. Then, after adding the point I have to select all the parts again to redefine the solid.
