A bit more sleuthing of the links reveals that Blacker is registered in Connecticut, USA

Now, back to the tailpipe drawing....

Good point - but not perfect. When I was in the Navy in Japan some fellows brought their left hand drive cars with them. So though  the Japanese drive on the left with right hand drive cars there were a few left hand drive cars running around. But since the sign is in English you are almost certainly correct in your deduction!

And what's this "wrong side" nonsense? At least we drive on one side, which is more than I can say for some countries I have been in!

Just how did you determine Connecticut???? There aren't enough pixels to be able to read the license plate, especially since it is at such an angle.

Dr, while viewing the original linked picture of the tailpipe, I just clicked on the right-arrow to go to the next picture in the photostream...

Many more pixels there!!!
