Unable to lock layer
« on: November 03, 2014, 12:00:57 PM »
I insert a bitmap to layer 2000 and I tried different methods and sys calls to lock this layer.
Nothing works  :-\ . How can I lock a layer?

Kind regards,

Juergen

Make any other layer the active layer, say layer 1999, then lock layer 2000.

Yes, DesignCAD, BasicCAD, OLE can be addictive.

ps.  Before my "siren song" comment and your response (other topic), I had never thought of DesignCAD as a she.  But that's interesting now that you mentioned it.  Wonder what the shrinks would make of that?  A virtual relationship with a CAD program. But it could explain why only old guys like DesignCAD.  Beauty can take on many forms.  And as for the beer comment, great!

PS When I was at school we learnt a song called "Alle Vöglein sind schon da" - it seems that they have grown up since then :)

PS Speaking of sirens ...

So they are, the women. You tell them something and they do promptly the opposite - a behavior that reminds me of DC.

Yes it's a she - a designed cat - it's just a pun of the DC developers. You didn't know?
OK, the beer. This is a debt of honor - for short ways: I see when I'm next time in MO - the 'show me' state ;)
They all tell me, the older people speak all a 'low-german' - I never understand a word.
And I often hear that the Germans put up pickles in the Christmas tree. OK, I'll try a session with
a shrink - I guess he will give up soon.

BTW: You both know that it ends in killing the men after hearing their songs?

Yes, DesignCAD.  Love, hate and times when it is out to kill you.
