'Do not print' as a layer option

Not the same as turning a layer off, because then you can't manipulate the whole drawing in plain sight, so to speak. just set the layer to not print out. Like a control layer.

You can achieve this now with 'print selection only'. Just make that layer uneditable, make all the others editable and Ctrl+A.

This is also of course an excellent feature of paperspace.

There you can turn on only the layers you want to print in each viewport, and these settings remain in effect no matter which layers you turn on or off in the drawing itself.

It also preserves scale settings to fit on your paper.
