V19.0
XP SP3
Vista 64 SP1

Normally when I open the materials pull down list in the Info Box the list opens a short window with a scroll bar on the right hand side.

Occasionally the materials list window opens wider than the screen width, and the scroll bar is off screen. The window is still short, listing only a few of the materials. This happens infrequently - maybe one in 50 times.

Dr PR, I have the same problem, and the best way i've found to correct it is to click on the greyed-in area with the push pin above and drag the box out into the open area.  Works for me. but it is something that should be fixed.  Also, the box should delete itself after the next key stroke.   Mike

I do not have the Info Box docked - it always floats. I work mostly in the Main window, and I find it totally unacceptable to have anything pop open over the working window. I position the box on the left side of the screen over the 2D windows.

When the problem occurs the materials list is wider than the screen, no matter where the dialog box is floating.

Dr PR,

Is this still a problem, and if so can you provide a picture to explain it?

Dempsey,

Unknown. I have not seen it in any of the V20 betas that I recall. However, I haven't been selecting different material types in my latest work. It happens sporadically, so failure to observe it over a short period does not mean it will not happen.
