turn off trim picked segements only
« on: September 14, 2008, 09:24:58 AM »
There does not seem to be any sys()  var or type parameter equivalent to the "trim picked segment only" option  for the following macro commands.

trim1{}
trim2{}
trim3{}
lineplane{}

These functions can be extremely awkward to use without the ability to turn off that option.

Thanks

Bd,  haven't tried the parameter to make sure it works, but the documentation says it's available.

>Trim2
{
<Type t [0 = keep selected part, 1 = trim shorter end]
<TrimPickedSegmentsOnly [0=no, 1=yes] (V17.1)
<Points: 1, 2 = lines to be trimmed
}

Thanks, prl.

That parameter is not in my version 17 docs.

Is there also a parameter for lineplane?

Also, How about a parameter to constrain <lineplane to within the boudaries of the plane?.

Sorry, no.  >lineplane is as before.  Two points, one on the line, one on the plane.
